First Update Post-Launch. Tutorial and an Additional Level
Hey everyone! I've just updated the game to address some feedback, and this post will go through those changes.
I first want to thank the people that have given me feedback thus far. You have all been really awesome and have helped narrow down the most important priorities for this recent update.
Fixed:
- level score is now reset when replaying the same level.
- When replaying a level, a state could be entered where the player couldn't play the next level if they ended the replay without serving customers.
- Scalability option is correctly initialized to whatever value the user left previously.
Improvements:
- Level score UI has been made slightly* more appealing. Not too important.
- VSync option in Options menu.
- Turned down motion blur a lot in general gameplay.
Added:
-Tutorial! Voiced by myself. It brings you through all of the mechanics to get you started and a little space to get acquainted with the controls.
-More dialogue when interacting with customers.
-A beginner level as the new default. The pre-existing level has been moved to level 2. Once you've unlocked level 2, you can access it from level 1 or via the main menu. If you have an existing save, delete it via the main menu.
